HOW IS BIO-DIN DEGRADED?
 

Degradation refers to the proces in which a macromolecular compound is chemically reacted back to a small molecule compound. The essence of the BIO-DIN’s degradation is the fracture of molecular chain in the polymer, which includes both the fracture of the main chain and the branch chain. The BIO-DIN can be degraded under the action of germ. The germ first erodes the surface of the BIO-DIN, and then the enzyme secreted by the microorganism acts on the ester bond in the polyester and hydrolyzes it.
